We've been busy refining and adding new features into shiftMAIL...
Before you send your email you can generate a spam report. This will tell you whether your email is likely to be caught by spam filters. And also tell you what factors are contributing to your spam score. This feature goes a long way to ensure you maximise the deliverability of your email shot.
Once you perform a search on your subscribers you can now save the search criteria for future use. Say for example you regularly search for gmail users who subscribed since 2006. You can create a filter for that search. The filter will automatically update to include new subscribers matching the stated criteria.
Sometimes you send a mailshot and then realise you have a new bunch of contacts who would also like the mailshot. Now instead of having to create a new mailing list, you can adjust add them to the existing mailing list and choose the 'send to new only' option during the send process.
You now have the option of requiring that new subscribers dounle opt-in to make sure that all new subscriptions are genuine. When double opt-in is enabled and a new user signs up, an email is sent to them to confirm the subscription.
If you have a web based contact database you can sync it directly wth shiftMAIL. This will give you the option of adding new customers into shiftMAIL instantly. To enable this feature you will need to export your contacts into xml format. This is a one off process which we can setup for you for a small fee.
